baptismal gifts

A gift for the new Christian should be something worth keeping and more lasting like a pearl bracelet, a pair of 14k earrnings, a couple of hankies with the baby's initials, a bath set, bib set, or a set of baby's clothes with the baby's initials, towel, etc. The choices are endless but in choosing one consider its universality as well as durability.

It is true that we are saved by faith, but not by factual, dead, or inactive faith. We can perform no work of merit. Our salvation is totally by grace---a gift. We do not merit gifts nor add to them by our deeds. But any gift must be accepted. Salvation is not forced on a person or given against the will.-william olam

Traditional baptism gift ideas include bibles and books, rattles and drinking cups, picture frames and jewelry. Probably one of the most unimaginative but thoughtful baby baptism gift would be to gift a savings bond or gift check.-william olam

As a loving grandparent or proud godparent, you can select a baptismal bracelet for a little girl. She can wear it for years with happy memories of the day she was blessed.-william olam
