Sunday indulgences....

For two reasons, I decided to take a walk for almost an hour from my residence to the marketplace. That's free exercise and fare-free as well. After buying some fish and my favorite "dahon sa sili," I headed back home to show our new househelp how to cook "tinola." After cooking the simple dish, I moved on to the next task of giving my dogs a bath. That done, I hit the bathroom for a quick shower, ate a quick lunch, and tryked to Marirose Beauty Salon for my weekly manicure, pedicure, & facial.

It is not because Marirose Beauty Salon is sponsoring beauty services for us such as manicure & pedicure, highlights, footspa, facial, etc. but it is because I have tried getting my manicure and pedicure in some beauty parlors with fancy names and with rates that are three to four times higher than what Marirose charges and with the lousiest manicure/pedicure I've ever had. I swore I'd never, ever go back to any of those salons with fancy names and with very high fees for their poor services.
